We are pleased to announce this year’s keynote speaker is Derek Peterson, Founder of the Institute for Community and Adolescent Resiliency in Arizona.
Derek is internationally renowned for his work on building resiliency in youth and communities. The Ministry for Children and Family Development in British Columbia has engaged his services to revamp person centered care by building resiliency. His model of Community Resilience is a must for persons assisting youth and adults. Derek’s presentation will focus on developing supports for clients with mental illness, developmental disability, criminal involvement and poor social functioning within structured systems.
