WHO is the John Howard Society?
Named after an English prison reformer of the 1700’s, the Society brings together volunteers and staff to develop and deliver programs designed to reduce recidivism and enhance the criminal justice system.

WHY does the John Howard Society exist?
The Society was developed to assist adults and youth who are in conflict with the law by involving the community in the Criminal Justice process.
HOW does the John Howard Society help?
The Society helps by developing and providing services designed to educate, reintegrate and reduce recidivism. We provide support and assistance to individuals, and the families of individuals, who have been affected, or involved with, the Criminal Justice System.
